The Wedding

After sooooo many years I finally returned to my American family. Here I pose with mom, Carol that is. This is right before the boattrip to the wedding at Grindstone Island at Rainy Lake. Are we not cute?



We got to go over to the island with this cool pontoon boat, a first class party boat for sure. Bets and Ted had a whole crew for handling the boat trips, party setups, bar and other stuff. They did an awesome job!


Here we have Betsy with her closest family, Tony & Kim with children and Carol and Ralph.


And on the brothers shot I got to step in with a smile - and hey, we all smile nicely! Betsy grinned off so many smiles during these days, it was great to see.


Ted the man of the day, just seconds before the arrival of the bride at the ceremony. He looks quite pleased and he seemed to have a good time and a firm grip of the whole situation. Really nice guy by the way.


We snapped a picture of Bets and Teds Unity Sand. Both families took turns with pouring colored sand into one of the glass containers to join the families, it was a beautiful part of the ceremony.

Of course, I can't leave town without a photo of me and grandma Betty. And we also had company from auntie Di.


Betsy and Ted with Billy who was a peace of energy all weekend and a really nice kid.


The family including the swedish surprise, me and Pia. And we also felt as a part of the family the way we were treated the whole time over there. Thanks everybody!


Oh yeah, after the ceremony and everything I asked Pia to marry me, still on the Grindstone Island. She made the correct answer and the photographer took a few pictures of us at "the spot". Of course, Kim and Trina caught us "in the act", but didn't know what we were doing and I think they where a little too far away to get a good shot with the camera. So we had to reconstruct it all - and yes, the people in the picture are authentic.


What? Who are these two celebs that the paparazzi caught?


We really had a good time in Minnesota and the Falls area. Although Pia got sick we got to meet quite a few people and old friends. After the wedding we spent a few days spending money in Twin Cities. Down there I met a few new friends, Abercrombrie and Fitch, Calvin Klein and a few others. Pia maybe got something as well for our own wedding :-)
